10x100 No-Fap Challenge - Turn your porn/fap addiction into something productive

GOAL

The goal of this challenge is to spend 10 minutes doing something productive after you get an urge to beat your meat.

It usually takes 10-20 minutes to find the perfect porn and then climax, you can avoid this by doing something you love and not feel bad after you finish.

I personally have battled with this addiction so wanting to do this in public. "I seriously hope my family don't see this."

What you can do in that 10 minutes?

You can do a lot of things, I have jotted down things which personally drives me. These are:

  • READING: Reading, listening to an audiobook, re-reading a book, etc.
  • LEARNING: Learning Photoshop, Illustrator, cryptocurrencies.
  • GROWING: Applying whatever I've learned from book or a creative pursuit and apply them to your personal project. Example - Creating this notion page for instance.


HOW TO USE

  • Click on any of the call out added on both of the page to open up the database. Then make a duplicate of it on your notion workspace
  • To duplicate at top right corner and save the page in your desired Notion Workspace.
  • Each day that you spend 10 minutes RLG (reading, learning, or growing), mark the date with a check mark. Ideally it should be checked only after completing RLG.
  • At the end of each month, you’ll get a total of how many days you spent RLG in "Remaining Days/ Month" toggle.
  • Repeat the above steps until the completion or 100 days. You can view the total completed days in "Remaining Days/ Month" database and "Days Left to complete the challenge"
  • Aim to spend 300 days or more RLG.

Q: Why do the 10x100 Challenge instead of the 100 Day abstinence and willpower challenge?

A: The 100 day No-fap challenge is a common practice by many followed by 30 day No-fap Challenge. There are a few drawbacks to this approach. First you wait for 100 days to get over, you crave for porn even more. It forces people to stay on course, and not rewarding people for reflecting and applying the brain in those craving moments. The 10x100 challenge, however, solves all of these issues. This No-fap challenge rewards people for reading, taking the time to grow their skills and applying the advice they've acquired.

Q: Why 10 minutes?

A: Ten minutes is not too big of an ask to be intimidating and it’s small enough that anyone, no matter how busy, can find 10 minutes in their day to read, learn, or grow. It’s somewhat based on the famous Pomodoro time management technique.

PS: If you want to increase the time to 25 minutes, feel free. My advice would be to start slow.

Q: Why 100 days?

A: 100 days is a standard benchmark. Of course, if this challenge is too easy, feel free to bump the numbers up and do the 20x200 or even 30x300 No-fap challenge.

Q: Is this a rip-off of No-fap Challenge?

A: This page is built to abstain you from fapping instead channel your urges to do something productive with your life. This is a slow build up to lifelong enjoyment.

Q: Can I use this tracker for only tracking No-Fap Days?

A: Yes, absolutely. But I'd Recommend having a alterior motive for this activity which will make it using the tracker more worthwhile.
